Contex MFP Repro solutions feature Contex IQ Quattro large format scanners, available in 24 inch, 36 inch or 44 inch sizes and deliver an optical resolution of 1200 dpi and maximum resolution of 9600 dpi, using 48-bit colour and 16-bit monochrome workflow and image processing.  The Contex MFP Repro solutions large format scanners feature 64,800 pixels and for professional colour results, use X-Rite i1 profiles.

The Contex MFP Repro solutions large format scanners  feature easy handling, including face-up scanning, All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) professional sheet-feed and Programmable One-Touch buttons. All-Wheel-Drive delivers perfect document grip, and Programmable One-Touch buttons permit common tasks to be assigned to three simple buttons. Magnetic document guides support long documents and make precise document loading easier. Detachable return guides for easy document handling return documents to the user by rewinding through the scanner. Contex applications create industry standard raster file formats that can be used with any CAD or GIS application, including AutoCAD, Microstation, ArcGIS, and all other CAD, GIS, image editing and storage applications.

 

The Contex MFP Repro solutions large format scanners scan accurate images with 1200 dpi and saves on file space with intelligent 8-bit indexed colour capture, making it ideal for archiving many types of files. The Contex MFP Repro solutions include WideSystem and the award winning Nextimage REPRO software. Nextimage REPRO is ideal for multifunction capabilities with touch-screen compatibility and full copy functions, along with Widesystem software. Nextimage REPRO includes ICC colour management, full copy functions, batch copy, set copy, nesting, and closed loop colour calibration. Nextimage can be installed on as many PC’s as you like, and is compatible with Windows 10, 8, 7, and Vista.

 

Nextimage REPRO software included with the Contex MFP Repro solutions  features easy creation of  multi-page PDF and TIF files.  Additionally, Nextimage REPRO file formats include: TIF, JPG, PDF and PDF/A files, integration with cloud destinations including Google Drive, Box.com, DropBox, email, HP ePrint, Microsoft Sky Drive and batch scanning. Other file formats supported include DWF, CALS, BMP, JPEG2000(JP2), JPEG2000 Extended(JPX), TIF-G3,  TIF-G4,  and others. Nextimage features full scan functions including Automatic Image Quality for instant clean-up and alignment and comes with an integrated image viewer and an enable automatic file naming. Programmable One-Touch buttons permit common tasks to be assigned to three simple buttons. Customise and edit index colour palettes and accounting features are also included. Even full image adjustment controls are included. Engineering or construction plans can be scanned in standard file formats directly into project folders. Contex MFP Repro solutions large format scanners support standard document formats including PDF and PDF/A. These are formats that can be opened and printed in scale using Adobe Reader. PDF/A is designed for long term storage, and is a file format protected from changes and is recommended for storing as-builds and documentation. For sharing and collaboration, use the standard PDF as this enables highlighting and annotations.

 

Contex MFP Repro solutions include a 21.5 inch Multi-Touch widescreen and a PC.  The Multi-Touch widescreen touch screen is a 21.5 inch full high definition TFT LCD, with 1920 x 1080 dpi.

 

The high stand version of the Contex MFP Repro solutions is designed to fit the Canon IPF 600/700/900 series, the Epson SC-T Series, and the HP DesignJet T Series and Z Series printers. The high stand includes right or left side touch-screen mounting with a monitor arm, keyboard tray and PC mounting tray.

 

The low stand version of the Contex MFP Repro solutions is designed for side-by-side operation.  Additional printers supported by the side by side stand included Epson Stylus Pro, Oce, Mutoh and some HP printers.  The working height for the low stand is 834, 859, 884 mm (32.8, 33.8 and 34.8 inches). The low stand includes right or left side touch-screen mounting with a monitor arm, keyboard tray and PC mounting tray.

 

Optional items for the Contex MFP Repro solutions include a PC and a compatible Large FormatPrinter.  The recommended PC is a “slimline” desktop PC, 2.0 GHz Intel core 2 Duo  or faster with 2GB RAM. The maximum PC size and weight compatible with the Contex MFP Repro is up to  490 x 400 x 107 mm(19.3 x 15.7 x 4.21 inches) and 12kg (26 lbs).
